According to the BBC website, he was drinking alcohol and eating cheese at an (the?) airport lounge at London City airport and so that was probably the source of his Port. Therefore, just need to establish what Port they serve there…My guess would be a standard ruby.

Think he was in the Glasgow lounge, which, if I remember correctly serves 6 Grapes.

The article says he was in the BA Lounge at Glasgow airport, so it would have been 6 Grapes.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

Only one bottle and he behaved like that? He’d never survive a TPF tasting.

(And hopefully they send him to jail for that behavior)
