Blueberry rather than blackcurrant on the nose.
Lush cool summer fruit on the palate. A little black pepper late before it smooths out into a millpond of summer fruit pudding on the finish with only a tickle of tannins late.
Very attractive, indeed absolutely delicious, and on this showing ready to go. Mind you, no terrible hurry. Next five years or so optimal for it as port. Although of course it will mellow and age further, I suspect it will be less pleasurable for waiting.
