Being a 1993 vintage and given how highly we all speak of this year

I'm not rich enough to spend a wallop on a sub-sub-par wine just because it's a rarity (looking at you, Liceiras 1993)
I thought it strange people would ask for this tasting - but here we are anyways. Unfortunately there's not many bottles from this year so the theme is
Bring a bottle from 1993
Date - 10th October 2023
Venue - Boot and Flogger
Bottles
1993 Barros LBV - ZDR
1993 Cockburn Anno LBV-AJH adopted from ZDR
1993 Royal Tokaji Mézes Mály Aszú (50cl)- FRCLG adopted from ZDR
I know this is going to sound like a lame excuse but I now have an oak frame barn (!!) being delivered on the 9th and 10th so I'm going to have to pull out of this one ... have a fun evening in the mean time.

No worries.
Folks remaining, food orders please and what you are bringing if you haven't declared already.
Sorry I cannot make it - need to squeeze in a visit to Montilla Moriles next week.
Happy to donate/send the Toro Albala 1993 PX to someone for the tasting.
Sorry to hear Tony. I suspect we're going to be ok for bottles so don't feel the urge to donate.
As the list has 8 (with only 6 confirmed with food orders), I've told the B&F so we may get assigned a smaller room. If someone is able to directly reach Ian or pommy to nudge them, that would be excellent.
Apologies for my tardiness Zak but just to reconfirm that I will be attending along with a bottle of Quinoa do Mourao 30 year Tawny (plus I will have Tony’s bottle-above).
As for food order:
Truffle Mac n cheese
Steak mushroom and claret pie with fries (looks like it comes with green beans)

Hi Guys, sorry been away and off line - and monumental failed to find a bottle apart from a 30yo whisky! Is there any bottle i can adopt a bottle?
Dinner: Mac and Cheese and Sirloin with garlic butter & Fries
No worries. I'm considering my bottles as donations and with Tony's bottle, I can just put you down for an adoption. How do you want your steak cooked?
I've put in a preliminary placemat on the first page. Quite tricky when very few wines have previous placemat precedence. Relatively easy to change things if requested.
Please can someone check? Additionally, may someone print?

I have a very dear friend coming from Geneva - can we squeeze one more guest and an additional bottle per chance?
This is fine. Please can you provide their initials and I'll add to the mats. Given Tony's generous donation, I'll place them down for adoption of that.
Given sherry, tokaji and perhaps 30YO tawny (don't shoot me), I have asked for some ice buckets.
That is amazing thank you so much.
Chris West (CW) - there should be a bottle of 1993 coming too - Ironstone Pressing (aussie red - Grenache, Shiraz, Mourvedre 15%)

Thank you - will get them added and update the placemats.

Just doing some cellar management and found three bottles of "Rioja Bordon Reserva 1993 - Bodegas Franco" which I'd forgotten about. Will bring one with me.
This was purchased from Laithwaites two or three years, and I think was producer library stock, so hopefully should be in good condition.

I should have mentioned - I have a surprise extra bottle coming too.
Still time to turn the placemats into 6 glasses per page??
