1970 Cockburn
A warm cinnamon red colour, 50% opaque. A little dirty on the nose, smelling of bruised fruit. Bruised and muddy on the palate and a pleasant bruised apple finish. Decent, but far from the great wine it should be. 87/100. Drunk 24-Apr-23. Decanted 10 hours.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
