1977 Graham

Very developed colour, 30% opaque. Little on the nose. Cinnamon drops on the palate, slightly fiery and warming with a little orange marmalade fruit. Lacking the complexity I would have hoped for and expected from this wine, especially in this format.  A conversation with the team who decanted the wine suggested the cork might have been in relatively poor condition. 88/100. Tasted 21-Feb-23. Decanted 4 hours. From Tappit Hen.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
