NV Graham Six Grapes Vila Velha

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Bottled 2022. Enormously different in colour to the 6 Grapes, much more purple toned. On the nose this is a little more restrained with dark plum rather than bramble. So smooth in texture! Satin. Rich plum and bramble with a more powerful core, generous tannins promise the ability to age. Wonderful chewy texture on the finish giving a liquorice tone to the fruit finish. Fabulous, Graham sweetness to the fruit with the structure of a serious Port. 91/100. 21-Feb-23. Decanted 4 hours.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
