That Offley looks like it's in fantastic shape. I hope the contents are just as pristine.

Oporto bottled. Opened at 22.00, double-decanted at 06.30, tasted at 14.30.

Copper red colour, mature appearance; 30% opaque. Bruised apples and raisin on the nose. Sweet dried fruit on the palate, golden sultanas with golden syrup; a little grip from the burnt sugar. An impressive length finish of golden marmalade. Although pale and indistinguished, this is a very pleasant mature Vintage Port. 90/100. Tasted 13-Jun-23. Decanted 8 hours.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
