JDAW is rushed off his feet at the moment, so I've stepped in to take over the organising of this tasting.
As Harry has noted above, this is the Tuesday before the Easter weekend BUT, if your school holidays are the same as in our area, the schools don't break up until Good Friday so Tuesday is still school term time.
Back to practical organising - please could the following people let me know what (if any) 1994 VPs they could offer for the tasting:
JDAW
MPM
ZDR
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.
2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
I so confirm. I have the Vesuvio 1994 in London and propose to pick up the rest of ports I have proffered next weekend. If I find I have mislaid any in the interim I will let you know. I can then drink the ones we don't need for this tasting over the next few months which will be no hardship.
I'm very much up for this and can confirm my availability .... I have Dow's, Fonseca, Martinez, Quinta da la Rosa, Vesuvio, Taylor's and a Quevado Colheita and some Fonseca LBV just for good measure take your pick Alex.

I'm afraid I will have to pull out of this tasting.

I am about to run through the chain of posts and update the attendee list. Please could you confirm that you are still able to attend.
Confirmed.
Would prefer not to open new case from storage if avoidable; have RO and qLR to hand, or happy to adopt.
Have located Warre, Gould Campbell and Smith Woodhouse in the cellar so will bring those back to town. Already have Vesuvio in town. Can’t find the others (Dow, QDLR, Taylor).
On the assumption that Ben can take the last seat at the table, this is what I am asking each attendee to bring:
THRA Burmester
TC Calem
IDJ Cockburn
NAC Croft
MC Dow
AHB Fonseca
MPM Graham
CPR Kopke
JDAW Quinta do Noval
PW Royal Oporto
BRP Smith Woodhouse
CMAG Taylor
AJS Vesuvio
GEAG Warre
Any issues (like George "Ooops, I've just opened my Smith Woodhouse 1994. Better take it off the list."), let me know.

Hello - it appears I'm now unavailable this Tuesday (very annoyingly), and so cannot take the last seat sadly (very).

Prescient Alex and the Smith Woodhouse curse claim another victim.
