Still very much discernible as vintage port. Rich red fruit on the nose and palate and full of life. 2 points from me and a deserved third place on the night.
Graham 1960, bottled by JG Thomson of Leith in autumn 1962. Double decanted at 07.20 and tasted at 20.20. A matured bronze colour, rich in depth at about 70% opacity. Fresh on the nose with dried fruit. Surprising ginger biscuit flavours on the palate – little fruit but lots of spice. Sweet without being cloying, the ginger and nutmeg being light and a little dry but the wine is still perfectly enjoyable. 84/100.

G60. Light garnet. There's a darkness to the color tone, but it is still light. Perhaps thin is a better word? It smells like a nice old Port, but without any real identifying characteristics. Some faint fruit on the palate, but mostly just pleasantly sweet and nice to drink. There might be a few baking spices hiding in there. 93 points.
