NV Royal Oporto Carvalhas 20YO

Quinta das Carvalhas 20YO Tawny. Deep red colour, a tone of early maturity with a wide rim. Redurrant and raspberry on the nose, bright and lively. Lovely texture on the palate, red cherry and raspberry with just a hint of tannin. The fruit overwhelms the tannin, the acidity keeps the wine fresh and bright. Fantastic finish. Served blind. Guess: Marks & Spencer 2007. 89/100. Drunk 14-August-2024.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
