98% opaque glass staining liquid. A very deep red.

Blueberry wholemeal muffins with cool blackcurrant jam on the nose.

Huge gobs of chocolate and blackberry on the palate. Where have the currants gone?

Really thick port. Lots of ‘matiere’ as the Burgundians would put it.

Big furry tannins. A little heat, very late.

On this showing, perhaps starting to shut down. Let’s see how the bottle develops over the weekend.
