New discovery for me this morning when using the bagging technique to remove a whole cork from inside a bottle.
Compostable food waste caddy bin bags are excellent for the task. Cork out with one pull.
The bag surface is slightly grippy which helps grab the cork, and they don’t have any air holes in them.

Re: Getting a whole cork out of a bottle
Good knowledge… but even more important… what was the cork/bottle??
Re: Getting a whole cork out of a bottle
Doggy poo or nappy bags also have the necessary qualities!

How do you use doggy poo to uncork a bottle? Please post full explanation with accompanying video, thank you.

Re: Getting a whole cork out of a bottle
I tried this technique using a compostable food bag last night. I usually just push the cork into an old unknown bottle then smash the empty bottle in a bag to get the cork out. I wanted to keep the bottle on this occasion (future candle holder) so tried this. Took me three attempts but worked a treat. Great tip. Key for me was twisting the bag tightly as I put it into the bottle. If I can do this again might it become my new party trick
