Evening all, maybe someone can help me read the names in this document (cellar list from a customer of mine). An abstemious lot as evidenced by the second photo but by then they were living in the Victorian era

Was writing bott^le some sort of writing quirk in those days?

I'm not sure that is "le" in the superscript though. None of the other letter e are written that way. It looks like an l then an s. bott^ls. Which is still a bit strange

Lots of other old English too. Been instead of bin. Seald rather than sealed. Bottled abbrieviated to bott^d. Number abbrieviated to no^br.
