1984 Warre Cavadinha

1984 Warre Cavadinha. Mature brick red colour, 70% opaque. Nice nose of attractive red fruit. Balanced on the palate showing good, ripe jellied red fruit. A lovely palate which fades quickly but doesn’t fade completely. 89/100. Guess: GM84. Was: WC84. Tasted 19-Feb-2025.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026

Yellowing rim. Lovely front palate but finish a bit acrid.
