If I get onto and then off of the bench, can do both sessions on 1st.

Have Croft, Mackenzie, Tuke Holdsworth, and Warre.
If promoted, all bottles listed are still available.

I've also previously offered Sandeman, Martinez, Warre and others; Christopher has very recently asked me to bring Warre.
First post might be pending update and/or not reflect all that has been offered privately.

Hi Christopher

My available list is still the same per the March PM. Simplest solutions would seem to be:
- I bring the Warre per your request on Sunday, if Tony has the RP available (he mentioned he might have in a previous post), or
- I bring the Martinez, rather than Charles bringing it as a second bottle, or
- I bring the Morgan, which is in decent condition but not a great port (I'd prefer to bring something better - I was going to suggest I brought it as a bonus bottle alongside whatever else you asked me to bring), or
- I bring the late-bottled Warre '55, allowing comparison with the standard W55 (the late-bottled is believed to be W55 VP, just a pipe bottled in '59 after 4yrs instead of the usual 2 or 3). Could bring that, plus the Morgan, perhaps?

Option 1 preferred as that extends the lineup. A fifth option would be the Sandeman bottle to compare to magnum.

I’ll vote for Option 1, but also for the bonus bottle of Morgan since that extends the line-up even further.

I’ve said to Christopher that if we’re doing lunch and dinner, I’m happy to bring two bottles. Currently we have 18 wines to work through, to be split in some way across two meals.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

Also happy to bring two bottles if useful. Second one would likely repeat an existing bottle, but one can never have enough '55 port...

Dear All
The intention is to have the Taylor and Sandeman Magnum v single bottle plus Hooper and Gonzalez Byas at lunch time.
I am just trying to see if anyone can bring a bottle of T55. There a have been a few kind offers of a second bottle.

At 11:30 please, a fried breakfast which must be guaranteed 100% unhealthy. Because I am an anorexic, the B&F does not need a calorie count.

Lunch:
• Soup;
• Cod + skinny fries.

Dinner:
• Mackerel;
• Burger (even more rare than is allowed) + skinny fries;
• Welsh rarebit + Bramdean pudding.

Current version of the placemats; pictures in the first post.

• Who is bringing the Mackenzie?
• Who is bringing the Sandeman single?

After those patched, somebody please check. Before which, let me get in early my request for forgiveness. There is a single †. Just one. For an event attended by Cliff and by Harry. But — pathetic weasel-worded excuse — table space will be tight, so there just wouldn’t be room for a whole extra page of ‡, ¶, §, #, ★, ☆.

Unfortunately for health related reasons I need to dropout of this tasting. I am particularly sorry as I am also the organiser. I am happy to keep on organising, final menus are going over today but I would need someone please to manage on the actual day and I can hand that over to.

Neil has been promoted and I will give the bottle of Avery to Julian

Obviously I'm now trying to think of other nicely symmetrical tastings. How about, in 2034, 67s @ 67 @ 67[PM]?

But we don't have to wait that long; next year would provide 66@60 and 60@66, as well as 63@63; though that really just sounds like a good excuse for a 60/63/66 matrix tasting tbh.

Or all three.

We can also finish the pairing this year, of 45 at 80, with 80 at 45.

Tony: please update your bottle situation. Rumour is it that the RP is actually Fr, but Cliff is bringing Ferreira. You’re already bringing Warre, so if you like you can merely withdraw the Fr.

Standing is a Taylor which is 3mm into neck.

The first-drawn bottle, Hennecky bottler, is high shoulder. Can we be bothered with both? Or does it die at home in my company?
