1994 Taylor

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Taylor 1994. Decanted 30 minutes.

OMFG.

This bottle absolutely deserves the stupid and stellar reputation the wine has.

Would I give it 100 points like Suckling did?

I don’t know!! I can’t fault it — but it’s going to be so much more complex and nuanced when I’m dead and gone.

It’s effing delicious and quaffable and so wonderfully joyous right now.

I love it! 99/100, but only so my great-grandchildren can give it 100 points in my memory in another 70 years.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

I think someone has stolen our Alex and replaced him with a bot.
