Graham 1995 LBV, decanted 4.5 hours. Ruby red colour, opaque centre with a wide rim. Nice fruit-led nose with an attractive sharp red berry. Nice expressive red fruit on the palate supported by delicate acidity. A little heat on the aftertaste quickly fades to allow the red berry fruit to shine. Very easy to drink with delicious but straightforward fruit dominating. 89/100.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
