From 90ml. (2025 Advent Calendar)
A slightly cloudy brown, very pale rim.
Nose is a bit grubby. No discernible fruit.
Palate, sadly, congruent, with a faecal finish.
Flawed sample.

Yikes.
I'd hope so, given the previous comment!

It was shouting ‘DNPIM’, but in the interests of science I did, and very much regretted it.

I opened mine this evening and I'm pleased to report it does not have a faecal finish but there is a strong burnt rubber band. (And I refuse to ask how you know what faeces tastes like...)
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026

Re: 1989 Quevedo Colheita (bottled 2025)
@ Alex - I am glad yours was better, and that I was right about mine being a faulty sample. Its failure was all the more stark because of the excellence of those either side, the very pretty 1992 and the really admirable 1981.
