Crucial question: does the Mk2 also come with TPF branding?

I did enquire from Dr. Bunsen Honeydew from Muppet Labs Inc as to his plans for product branding on the Mk2 variant, he explained that the Mk1 variant was laser cut but due to the light nature of the wood this solution was not that practical to scale.

It also had the down side that Beaker suffered a nasty accident during the process which involved a 50mw laser .... he will however recover !

Other forms of product branding along with other enhancements are being considered

I have partial sympathy with this. It might be that the book is ‘The Book’. But also, it might be that the extent of familiarity, the extent of just what-else-could-it-be?, is so great that it has slipped into colloquial lower case.

I must admit, it's not easy to sneak the Mark 1 version into the house without the other half noticing. It's also quite a challenge to find bottles with corks big enough to fit on the Mark 1.

I'm relieved that the Mark 2 version is smaller and lighter.

The placemat software has a cork display page type. Does this page type need any improvements to fit better the new rests? (Size changes trivial, by parameters CorkDisplayMinWidth and CorkDisplayMinHeight.)

Viz used to have Top Tips section — and maybe still does. I recall a mid-nineteen-nineties edition having a top tip of putting eggs in a bowl or other container, so that they don’t roll off the counter-top. Ever since I have followed this excellent advice.

How about applying peel off adhesive letters and then stain? Or a reverse stencil. Granted they're a pain as well, but I imagine it would work.

Humm not sure what to say about Muppet Labs Inc, but clearly they have never seen a proper sized bottle and only drink halves. Therefore I'm still not happy with limited selection of Mk1, Mk2 or Mk3. Where am I going to put the corks from a real sized bottle the magnum, the perfect size bottle a Tappet Hen or if you are having to share at lunch a Double Magnum. clearly they need to work on their range.
