Seen recently in a retailer's premises, to which vintage port does the note below refer? The only additional clue I will give (for now) is that there is a tasting note for this port on our tasting note database.
"Complex vintage port, rich and sweet, reminiscent of mint, raspberry and cassis. No need to decant"

Not the Cruz 1989, but you are thinking along broadly the right lines.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

Not the Kopke 1985, the wine has a lesser reputation that the Kopke 1985.

It is indeed what Tesco put on the shelf next to their 1994 BoB.
The bit about "no need to decant" is what surprised me.
