1970 Graham vintage port

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Badly decanted with sediment floating about in the wine. Sweet and mature on the nose; very elegant in the mouth with mature fruit and lots of Christmas cake and mince-meat fruit. Great complexity. A big, sweet and mouthfilling aftertaste that is just a touch short to be ideal. 93/100. Tasted 27/11/08.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
