Dekanted on Friday during my Croft tasting. Cloudy color with a good structure. Brownish. Strong nose, but TCA-spoiled.
I left it in the bottle and vacumised (I hope this word exists) it. After 5 days smooth, balanced and still strong with the TCA totally gone. The port itself was not fully strong anymore. Nice, definitely better without TCA. Toffee and malty notes.

Interesting, I'll try a Vacu-vin next time I encounter a TCA tainted bottle.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
