Tasted during a wonderful tasting, hosted and prepared by Gustavo, in the Graham's lodge (26/11/2009)
This is slightly lighter in colour than the 1980 that was tasted alongside. Walnuts and milk chocolate on the nose. A very soft and easy-going port, with a light structure. The nose is the most interesting part of the port, really quite lovely. A pity the palate doesn't quite live up to it. This has aged considerably since I last tasted it (maybe 4 or 5 years ago), which is disappointing. A tad simple.

Re: 1991 Graham's Vintage Port
Broached a bottle on Thursday. Last night, it was awful, almost undrinkable. Tonight, at around 48 hours, much more agreeable, albeit simple and straightforward. I'll wait a year or two before the next tasting.
It may be drivel, but it's not meaningless.
