Is that just in case 19 regular bottles isn't enough between us?DRT wrote:
Re: 23rdFebruary offline @ The New Cavendish Club - Vesuvio
Do we have an ’06 single to compare to the magnum?
Re: 23rdFebruary offline @ The New Cavendish Club - Vesuvio
It's always a good idea to have a contingency in placeJacobH wrote:Is that just in case 19 regular bottles isn't enough between us?DRT wrote:
I don't. Do we need one? If so, do we need a Mag of each of the others in the line-up?jdaw1 wrote:Do we have an ’06 single to compare to the magnum?

Of course we do. Haven’t you learnt anything?DRT wrote:Do we need one?
I’m willing to accept that this is a lower-priority ‘need’ though still a ‘need’.DRT wrote:If so, do we need a Mag of each of the others in the line-up?

Sorry. If someone can bring one I will happily participate in the experiment.jdaw1 wrote:Of course we do. Haven’t you learnt anything?DRT wrote:Do we need one?

All,
Please do not decant your bottles tonight or tomorrow morning. We will decant everything at the venue.
Thanks

Please note that we have the room from about 5pm. If someone is in the room before it is available to us, you may have to improvise
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.
2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

My hotel is 100 yards from NCC. JDAW and I can improvise in my room for a couple of hours if necessary, though not in the Biblical senseAHB wrote:Please note that we have the room from about 5pm. If someone is in the room before it is available to us, you may have to improvise

I had intended to do this yesterday, but circumstances prevented this. I shall endeavour to do so today but probably only have an 80% chance of success.jdaw1 wrote:Are the placemats printed?

Sounds like fun. How did the 2006 Magnum show? I hope it was worthy of the wait.

I thought it was very good, others thought it tasted of dodgy unwashed feet = do you think it perhaps needs more time?Roy Hersh wrote:Sounds like fun. How did the 2006 Magnum show? I hope it was worthy of the wait.
As usual on these occasions my notes are sparse and somewhat useless so I am waiting on AHB and others posting theirs before adding my few words
