A weekend on a winefair in Regua

From May 20th to 23rd I was invited over AICEP to visit a small winefestival in Regua, which I would have overlooked fairly easily. For those of you have been visiting the Vindouro in Sao Joao da Pesqueira, you can imagine the size of the fair.

Anyways I do like these small wine fairs as on bigger scale events you would never have this amount of time to chat with smaller producers and get into detail with them at this level. All lunches and dinners were at the best spots in the region with the producers with us to present their wines.

Bottom line: Outstanding event, though small, tasted some extremely good wines and port and brilliant weather.

Do it again as often as possible.
