2005 Ramos Pinto LBV (unfiltered)

Bottled unfiltered in 2010. Nice mid-red colour, opaque centre. Open nose with good floral tones in a plummy core. Fruity entry, good volumes of blackcurrant flavours revealing a big wine with a nice tannic structure. Good finish, fruity and enjoyable. Good quality LBV. 87/100.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
