Its very quiet

Talk about anything but keep it polite and reasonably clean.

Its very quiet

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Its very quiet on the forum at the moment. Does this mean that people are very busy with work or does the lack of new tasting notes mean that people have stopped drinking port

I may be in this category as I find myself considering opening a bottle of Phelan-Segur 2000 when my Quinta da Roeda 1995 runs out tonight. What a strange consideration... :?

Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

Both, for me. And one certainly has something to do with the other... No chance of any decent port again this weekend, but the next is looking a bit brighter, and just maybe, if I'm able to clear the way to the cellar (which is now filled with all kinds of mess, because we are painting the room next to it...) I can convince LadyR that it's utterly necessary to open a bottle of the good stuff. :)

My excuse is that I was in the Douro for a few days (did I mention that before? ) and have been busy with work and travel since I got back. I may have some port tonight when I get home 88)

I was out of the country and didn't have a computer with me. I'm back now, so I'll try to change the slowness with some worthless words of not so wisdom.
