1871 Quinta do Loureiro Colheita

A second bottle opened the day after the first.

Deep brown, 20% opaque. Mild nose, clearly colheita and with attractive orange. Thick and powerful on the palate, with lots of coffee, concentrated flavours and a good balance. Lingering coffee on the aftertaste. Showing well. 89/100. 14-Jun-12. Pop 'n' pour.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
