1974 Quinta do Noval Colheita

From a tasting of Noval Colhieta from 1937 to 1986 in the Noval shop in VNG on 30 Sep 07 - see review here

1st bottle - some nail varnish on the nose. Nice weight but bitter taste. Not good. It was agreed that this bottle was corked, just after we finished it :lol:

2nd bottle - More complex nose and much better than the first bottle but still not a great wine.

I rated this as 5th out of 7
