Sample bottles

Post by PhilW »

I'm planning to order a number of 0038-06 which are the plastic (PET, wide-mouth 60ml) bottles which a number of people here have used for tasting samples. They come in 48-bottle bags at $28 (USD) plus shipping, and I will be ordering them from SKS in the US; If anyone else would also like some, please let me know by the end of the week, when I shall place an order.

I'll take a bag to share with DRT and/or JDAW. I find 15 or so to be a useful amount at least to start with.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

I would be interested but I wouldn't need more than 15. Anyone willing to share?

ok - I logged on to SKS site to place the order today; I'd decided to order 3 bags of 48 to share amongst those who had expressed interest. Unfortunately, it seems they want to charge $200 for shipping... this seems a tad high to me, so I will look for another plan (likely involving identifying someone who is US-based and would be happy to buy them and ship them to us!).
