Talk about anything but keep it polite and reasonably clean.

Derek's "Port Lasting" Technique

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Is this to supplement the corked 1975 that is supposed to last three days?

I think I may have spotted your tactic - to help make a bottle of port last for the whole of a three day stay in London ... take two extra bottles with you :D

Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

No. Wrong.

I brought 18.5cl of GM75 and 50cl of QV98 with me which is one or two glasses short of a bottle

I will try to ensure you all share the experience of what I have with me.
