1988 Quinta de Roriz LBV

Cask sample - paired with the regular bottling of the same wine. Deeper in colour than the regular bottling, but thin and transparent. Nose of sugar cane. Very bland in the mouth, then a curious mix of sweetness and bitterness at the same time, perhaps with a little strawberry jam. Weak aftertaste. 77/100.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
