1940 Cabral White Colheita

Toffee coloured appearance, murky and with a green rim. Toffee and mandarins on the nose, rather attractive. Sweet entry, lots of toffee and sweet orange flavours. Lovely complexity, a nice sweetness but balanced by sweet citric acidity. Lovely lingering finish, gentle but persistent. Very enjoyable port. 89/100. Drunk 23-Apr-14. Decant N/K
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
