Dows Trademark Port being heavily advertised at half price at Sainsburys. £5.50.
So the question is...Whats it like?
If its great, hurry up an let us all know. Thats a great price if its half decent.

No idea. Why don't you buy one and let us all know whether or not we should get down there and clear the shelves?

If I were to spend £5~£6 on a bottle of port (before promotion), I would go with the Warre's Warrior.

The standard price for Warrior is about a tenner, it's only on promotion at that sort of price.
I think I've had Trademark for cooking. Don't remember a TN so it's probably adequate at that price.
Port is basically a red drink

I think you should shop around, this is their standard price, Somerfield also sell it for a similar price.....

It's Dow's reserve wine - Midnight is their ruby brand - so £5.50 is not that bad - but not dazzling either...
However, it is very important that people drink these wines -
- so I can drink the good stuff..

So having had a jolly tour around the Houses, I presume no one has tried it? I'll try an catch a bottle, but probably like the rest of you, it's a busy time of life!
It's not the end of the world, but if it's anything like half decent, it would be worth throwing a dozen in a cupboard.
