1948 Graham

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Warm rich red in colour, 60% opaque. Warm, rich spicy fruit nose - very fine and attractive. Sweet fruit and balanced palate with generous fruit and lively spices. A typical mature Graham palate of complex fruit laced with mace and all spice. The palate flavours run through the long finish. 94/100. Drunk 24-Jun-14. Pop 'n' pour.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
