Labelled as a 'Qualitätswein', simply. 13%.
The lightest yellow. Nose of buttery melon and slight, ripe sourness and greenness.
Gently petillante in the mouth, puckering the gums in the clean mineral entry; then marvellously crisp green apple dominates the mid-palate, developing and growing to the very mineral, very crisp, very dry finish, taut and disciplined; this is what I expect a wine made by a Count to taste like.
This is an unfussy wine. It is the driest white I've had in a long time.
