Mz85. Glorious red, 60% opaque. Nose dirty. Actually nose so dirty, like ’94 and ’97, that not tasted.

40% opacity, brown-red. Cigars on the nose. Thin, dry, tannic, peppery.

Deep red in colour, almost opaque at 90% opacity. Pronounced nose with salty caramel and little fruit. Dirty flavours on the palate. Unpleasant. A bad bottle. NR.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
