This week’s Wine Folly:
What Your Favorite Wine Says About You .
Cabernet Sauvignon ⇒ “You like music with
real instruments played by
real musicians. You live by the motto: “No pain, no gain.” No one would dare use the word ‘subtle’ to describe
your personality . Cabernet Sauvignon seems fitting.”
In which case, what does Port say?

Not sure about the Port question, but I'm slightly concerned about Daniel's penchant for a nice fruity Malbec

Ugh. I hate Malbec. I never touch New World wines. Did I mention, can't stand Malbec.

Presumably it is so unclassy to store such things in a shoebox.

Good topic. I will stand up for Malbec. It's a great big rough edged thing, an Aztec sculpture of a Rhone wine.
I think the type of port people like speaks volumes; Alex's partiality for the more mature and subtle. The love some have for Colheita. But overall I still maintain that port is a ritual as much as a drink, what that says about us I am less sure.

Perchance a Cahors would float your boat?
