NV Graham Six Grapes

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Deep red centre with a deep red rim, much younger than the Cockburn Special Reserve shown alongside. Nosing of blackcurrant. Restrained entry, hinting at sweet blackcurrant before a lovely and voluptuous mid-palate full of blackcurrant cordial that is balanced by nice acidity. Fruit led finish of good length and with a bit of a cracked black pepper bite. 86/100. Tasted 24-Feb-15.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
