NV Graham Tawny 20YO (bottled 2014)

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Bottled 2014. Butterscotch-orange in colour, 20% opaque. Pear drops and VA dominates the nose, which is full of almond paste and pistachio. Sweet and smooth entry, soft flavours of nuts and olive oil. Gentle and sweet, slightly lacking in acidity which gives a slightly unfocused palate. A gentle finish of olives and butterscotch. 86/100. Tasted 24-Feb-15.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
