NV Maynard Ruby Finest Reserve

Maynard is sold in the UK through Aldi. Maynard is one of the labels (with the blends for each label being different) from Vinihold - Commercializacao de Vinhos, the company behind Maynard / Barao de Vilar / Feuerheerd / Palmer. Deep red with a fragrant nose of stewed red fruit. Soft and fruity on the palate with good gentle tannins. Soft finish. A decent, pleasant ruby port. 84/100. May 2015.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
