If Dereks cottage had of had Wireless internet connection, you could have had our Off-Line live. I was downloading the photo's at the table, but couldn't send them. Has the Crusting Pipe got Wireless???

I don't think there's a wireless connection available in the Crusting Pipe, but there is a weak mobile connection if you have a 3G card rather than a WiFi card.

But I may be wrong, I don't think I've ever actually tried to connect wirelessly from the tunnel.

I'll bring it and see. I'm travelling down on Virgin Trains, 1st class, so I'm hoping they'll have a connection as well. It'll just help to stay in touch.

This has just reminded me of something.

Alan, Simon and I headed to the only pub in Craster, The Jolly Fisherman, just befor closing time. I have to admit that my memory is extremely hazy from this period of the night but I seem to remember us staggering in and asking the barmaid if we could use the Free Public Internet that was advertised outside. We were told that it hadn't worked for some time so, sorry, no.

Jo and I went to The Jolly Fisherman 3 nights later and I was rather amused to see one of the locals sitting behind the bar searhcing e-bay for about 2 hours. I didn't ask whether it had just been fixed or we had been thrown a body-swerve due to our less than sober appearance. I suspect the latter

That part I remember vividly we were stared at a bit like the pub in the movie American werewolf in London I think it was called the blooded claw.I just think the owners wife could'nt be bothered.

No. I personally suspect someone drugged one of your chips. It was after your chip butty last time. And the time before that it was when you had a 'chip shaped' cigar in your mouth. Definitely a pattern.

Never eat chip butties at an Offline
Never eat chips shaped like cigars at an Offline
