SW85 Deep colour, Strong fruits coming through. Slight bitterness at the end that prevented a better score. 88 points

Mature red, 50% opaque. Mild fruit at first on the nose, a nice mix of sweet and sour. Mild and modest entry, sweet but with sticky fruit. Air on the palate releases some nice fruit flavours with the mature fruit balanced by a decent dose of acidity. Warm aftertaste with modest fruit, fruit which gets stronger through the finish until you reach an attractive green chewiness. Interesting phases of flavour on the finish. 88/100.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

SW85. Red, 40% opaque. Palate slightly acidic, with slight fruit, slight sweetness, and slight sourness. Drinkably pleasant.
