In Streatham, on Saturday 30th January 2016, Mr and Mrs Gandhi were the guests of Mr and Mrs Wiseman, as was Mrs W’s brother.

GM86, decanted 2pm. Dark red, 70% opaque. Lots of blackberry fruit, big sweetness, and a hint of black pepper. Lovely juice, not yet in perfect balance: this will reward those who can wait another half decade.

Two days later, pepper on the tongue. Sweet, cloyingly sweet, red fruit: perhaps a red-plum like thing. Less complicated than before, but larger. I still like.
