1966 Kopke Colheita (bottled 2016)

Bottled 2016. Sandalwood in colour, 20% opaque. Subdued on the nose, smelling gently of sandalwood. Sweet entry with a lovely texture; a good balance of acidity with plenty of honey and flower perfume with the flowers dominating the late palate. Flowers and honey dominate the finish, leaving a delicious gentle and lingering length. 91/100. Tasted 02-Mar-16.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
