1966 Taylor Colheita

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Deep olive brown colour with hints of green on the rim. A big nose, powerful and petrolly. Slightly thicker texture than most port, with rich honey and flower perfume on the palate with an acidity that builds up gradually to deliver a big and powerful mouthful that ends in a huge finish. Everlasting port! 94/100. 22-Apr-16
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: DR Very Old White, Graham Stone Terraces 2011, Quevedo Branco 1986 b.2026
