It's my favorite 1994 Port with the Fonseca not far behind. This will bring me up to 25 bottles.

1 x 2006 Warre Quinta de Cavadinha for $35. Store just had the one bottle and price seemed good. Didn't know I needed it until I saw it...lol.

Was not aware of the existence of this bottle, but I'm glad I was able to buy it. To my knowledge I am only missing the Fortnum & Mason botteling now.

IIRC, it’s actually a 1992 Morgan that was relabeled as The Yeatman VP so they could use it at the hotel. They didn’t recork them, so the cork should reveal what it was originally.

Already have a few of these and have drunk a lot over the years. If they've been reasonably well looked after they're generally quite nice. Probably one of the better 75s. Nothing special, but good drinking especially if you can get them for a low-ish price.

6 bottles of Poças 2015 White Colheita (bottled 2025) arrived at the house yesterday, courtesy of House of Townend.

One appears to be rapidly evaporating this sunny afternoon.

1 x Warre 1974 LBV - £44 delivered. All seems OK so probably a good buy.

I came across a bottle of Warre Otima 10YO White while in Porto - the Symington’s first white with an indication of age that I am aware of.

Needless to say, there was only one thing to do.

I might have done that if they’d been first to market with a 10 year old pink Port. But white, they’re just trying to catch up.

I didn't see the 2015 White Colheita on their site and the O Galego shows as "sold out", but I think that's more because they didn't activate it for sale yet. I found a link when I googled Poças and O Galego, but you won't find it as an active link in the Buy page. Go figure.

How I bought both was I went to their "Buy" link on their Splash page. I clicked on that. In the bottom right hand corner, is a chat function in a white box. I clicked on that and inquired about the O Galego and they answered later that day "How many do you want?". I replied and then also asked if they had any of the 2015 White Colheita AND the Bonificador laying around. They said yes to the 2015 and no (not surprised) to the Bonificador. I then requested 3 bottles of the 2015. They sent me the invoice via their pay program. I paid it and requested them to delay shipping until Sep. 30. They acknowledged and that was that. I also requested and received a 10% discount on the Ports, but not the shipping.

I've used the chat feature to buy from Poças a few times now and it's always been very efficient. They usually get back to you early in the day (ET) or later in the day, but they are always responsive.

Mike, that is really sneaky! Good use of a chat function.
