Also, my local Tesco had 750ml bottles of Croft LBV 04 for sale at £6.99. Not sure if this is nationwide.

Half a dozen Quinta de la Rosa 2003 LBV bottled 2007 37.5cl (handy snack size!) £8.95 very morish in a brief taste before buying.
There is no such thing as a large glass of Port, any glass of Port can be made larger.

Excellent deal..!

The last few auctions of the year have shown a slight softening of interest in mature port. Whether this is just a blip or not remains to be seen.

Prices for young 'investment grade' claret remain ridiculous though.

Sorry just the 3 bottles which is why I took them all - it should be a good Christmas the owc 94 Dow's is on it's way tomorrow together with a 63 Graham. It's now just down to what to open on Christmas Day? :roll:
