I actually am. What a nice day to get back to life....
If we need to lose some port, I would suggest losing duplicated port - either the magnum or tappit hen of Graham (or Warre, if that's also duplicated). Personally though, I'm happy to keep everything in the line up and if there's any port left in my G77TH I'll take it back home with me when I take the "empty" back.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

I don't believe so as with the addition of Julian's guests we are back to our usual maximum of 14 (even without Mrs W) but as organiser, I'll leave it to Charles to provide the final say.

Woohoo! This is shaping up to be a belter of an event. My food order, please:
Potted Cornish crab with seaweed butter and sourdough melba toast
Chargrilled sirloin steak 220g (rare) with hand-cut chips and (grilled tomato donated to JDAW)
Broccoli with lemon, almonds and chilli

I'll have duck liver pate to start, grilled scallops and bacon (no chilli please) with a side of triple cooked chips as my main and something for dessert.
I have confirmed CMAG's attendance.

Who can print the placemats, at least partly on A3 which is then to be trimmed? (Glasses pages to lose 69.7mm ≈ 2.74″ from right-hand side.)

Tom Shillaker will be attending as my guest. Tom is right handed and would like to eat
- Wild mushrooms on garlic and rosemary toast with basil pesto what other kind of pesto is there?
- Slow cooked chicken leg blah blah with a side of creamed spinach

Apologies but I am going to have to withdraw from this tasting...if any monies owed I will of course reimburse...sorry
CMAG has asked if he could bring a guest to replace Cookie. If permitted, his guest's initials are TB, presumed to be right handed and would like to eat a potted crab starter followed by a medium sirloin steak.

I am afraid I will have to withdraw from this tasting. Very sorry for the short notice and very much hope a replacement can be found.
Charles I have sent you a PM.
Apologies again.

Sorry you can't make it. First post updated back to 15.
There is a strong chance I may now be able to make this tasting (replacing one Simon with another), but don't have an appropriate bottle contribution. If I double-check on Monday, would that be ok?

I can confirm attendance. Looking forward to Wednesday! Could I please have the potted crab, followed by a medium rare steak.
