@ flash - I am keenly awaiting the report on your Croft 82. I have had it five times. And every time it has been an undrinkable. It is the obverse of the Croft 91 for my money.

Indeed ... Remember green beans are no longer on the menu but they do still deliver ... I keep ordering them and it seems to work .

- I don't have a facebook account...do you need to be logged in to view it?

There was some interest last night in acquiring the remaining stock of Blenheim Palace OBV82 from Corney & Barrow.
I've been in contact with my C&B account manager and unfortunately there's no movement on the price as they've already recently reduced it.
So, there are currently 32 bottles available @ £60 each. For orders of two or more bottles the price would include UK delivery.

It looks like it was a fun tasting; however, I'm really surprised about the Ramos Pinto scoring so low. I've drank a few bottles of it over the last couple of years and I thought it was killer. I like OBV generally speaking as a producer, so I'm happy to see that it scored well. I'll definitely have my eye out for the Niepoort at auction.

1982 and 1983 RP can both be killers, but 1982 is
just close enough to an off vintage* that there can be significant bottle variation.
* yeah, yeah, it's a split vintage. But of the 2, 1982 is the weaker and more variable.

Thanks Ben for organising a very enjoyable tasting. There were no bad ports and no superstars, with around half very enjoyable. The Offley stood out for me on the night, a fair way clear of Niepoort and Cruzeiro.
